Bert Shuler
President and CEO, The Shuler Group

A native of Orangeburg, SC, Shuler Group president Bert Shuler has more than 30 years of experience in the design, construction and management of real estate projects.

Bert is a graduate of The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and has been a practicing engineer since 1982. His years as an engineer and general contractor lend him a wealth of technical and practical knowledge that he applies to projects underneath the Shuler Group banner.

For more than two decades, Bert has been involved in the planning, design and development of numerous resort and specialty projects in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. In addition, he has constructed more than 80 custom homes and has performed project management and contract administration services for various commercial and industrial ventures.

A member of the Orangeburg Rotary Club and First Presbyterian Church, Bert enjoys mountain biking and traveling in his spare time. He and his wife, Julianne, have three grown children and reside in Orangeburg, SC.
